Relaxation techniques and activities that are relaxing can help reduce the frequency and severity of hot flashes. Yoga, meditation, acupuncture, walking, massage, and breathing exercises are all examples. Try to incorporate relaxation techniques into your daily routine. Once you’ve found the technique(s) that work best for you, you can use it whenever a hot flash starts to distract you from your discomfort.
